Well, well, well.
England got a try, they banked on Barkley and stumbled to an unconvincing win early on Saturday evening. For the most part they looked well oiled - not a well oiled machine and it was a pleasure to watch the sideshow from the American team, inventing, endeavouring and, well, scoring.
It was refreshing to see a shambolic lineout - better today than next Friday when they will have had a Burger, and their chips! I had high hopes for Simon Shaw - maybe next match eh?
Argentina must have enjoyed watching the match. Corny? Beefy? No - just sliced white, without much filling and spread thinly.
I think Ken Livingstone has already cancelled the bus - probably he's inviting Horatio Nelson Mandella back to London again...
Well at least we've found a replacement kicker, in Phil Vickery, for the injured Wilkinson.
I thought Owen was back to his best and Heskey poses a selection problem for the management for the match against South Africa. They could always put Crouch in the second row.

...on second thoughts Crouch is in 'pole position' for Mc(C)Laren in Italy this afternoon.

I thought Crouch and Hold were our two props...and that if you had a bit of Vickery, it helped get rid of that stuffed up' feeling - obviously taking time to work!

Oooops! Just popped in to see a side dish of something cold and grey being drizzled in maple syrup! Looks like Canada would like to 'dit bonjour' to the World Cup. Excellent stuff - timely interception try after a massive foot race...
