Castagniede a dit "France gagnera de 10 points"
Thomas Castagniede said that France will win by 10 points, following his first foray into commentating for ITV3.
First thoughts: all very wooden from Jim Rosenthal, a lousy intro sequence for the programme, and I am often suspicious of 'motivational speeches to camera - a la Brian Ashton.
Rookie ex- England players Martin Johnson and Will Greenwood have turned orange for TV purposes but, actually, I find Will Greenwood to be quite astute in his comments.
I'm off to the telly again because the teams are taking the field.
Enjoy the game everyone, and the corned beef sandwiches at half time...all washed down with a glass of vin de pays - or better!
I'm sure the guy pictured will be there - the Stade Francais "Rat man"!
May the best team win.
It's only me correcting a technical fault: It is ITV, Channel 3...not ITV3 - idiot :¬(

what can i say - even Chabal with his beautiful side parting (at the end of the game) couldn't help France. Early days i still adore him! Allez France si pas Ecosse!!

Annie - comments about partings are not welcome in the present company!(That's me and Tony in case you still have the rose tinted specs on...) All these young rugby players - they are all muscle, physique, wealth, charisma...don't see what all the fuss is about. What on earth are you doing worshipping a player who looks like a horse's tail on a bad day?!
(lovely to see you posting x)

but i love horse meat when i go to France. Did you not see Didier's video of Chabal! apparently they use this video to motivate the French team before a game. Have you not seen it? Shall i send you a copy or should i send it to Bernard Laporte?

Send it to me and I will publish - if I can get to grips with video weblog in French...
Annie - you are too young to like horses...In the words of Dick Emery, "you're all foal - but I like you!"

Salut Didier!
Ask Doron if he has a clean van...if yes, then of course! Last time we came over, his van was a bit smelly.
The 'salon' is a dangerous thing...not the fine wines, champagnes, les blancs etc etc but the night beforew when we have arrived on Eurostar and have to go and help with training at the Clubhouse!!!
