Result of tonight's game will be a win in extra time for the South African XV - other than that, I couldn't give a fig, and indeed I would like the Pumas to preserve the romance of this tournament by giving South Africa a good hiding.
Roll on next Friday and Saturday!
Okay - it didn't make it to extra time - a tired Argentina fifteen suffering at the hands of South Africa. Roll on next week, both for France and Argentina, and England v South Africa. I suspect there will be vast lobbying by the SA 'coaches' advising the ref on the 'truck and trailer law' that caused that creep from New Zealand to reach for his whistle on Sunday.
So - a big win for England is on the cards - far more satisfying that a grind against Argentina I think...we happily leave that to France! Maybe Friday will bring adventure from France - not getting too involved in the up and under game but focussing on shredding a very tired Pumas team with typical French running?
