Yes. We will all be supporting France in their quest to rekindle the romantic game that was drilled out of them by Bernardo Lasporte, working under strict instructions from his Leader, who, in turn, had the hump because his nearly ex-wife is going to take him to the 'agents de nettoyage'. (cleaners). She will be fit long after Sarkosy the man has turned grey - weary from so many strikes and Laporte's 'skipping for fitness' policy. "Gris pas gras" will be the cry of crowds gathering in village squares throughout France.
That's after the XV beat a tired Argentina tomorrow evening.
It would be too boring to quote the whole of the Marseillaise - if only because it is available - in both languages here - suffice to show a little video of some bloke getting the nod and being alowed to sing in the bar...cool stuff! Watch and enjoy - like I hope we all enjoy the game tomorrow.
Thank you Martin, very very funny this movie !
What is it ?
Where did you find that ?
Thank you again, very appropriate for tonight... (I would have perfer last week, but it's to late...)

Hello Pierre - 'Casablanca'
The first part of the film reminds me of the "One banana, two banana..." singing matches that always used to happen at the Clubhouse.

Ok - so I was wrong about France winning this match, but well played Argentina. Heart, soul and inventiveness gave them the win. Laporte failed his team (and his country) miserably when it mattered the most. Really talented individuals often do not make for efficient teams. Throwing the ball to each other and running around a bit does not win games that need direction. After he has been sacked from the Ministry of Sport, let's hope Bernardo Laportolucci does not think of making a film - it could be surreal!
